Site Design
This week's module opened my eyes to online business in a big way. Going through the I-Learn readings on digital marketing and e-commerce platforms showed me it's not just about a killer product. You have to give real value and actually connect with people who might buy from you.
The SEO video stuck with me—keywords matter a ton because if search engines can't find you easily, no one else will either in this packed online world. It tied right into the discussion board posts where folks shared how startups tanked from weak visibility or not keeping up with content. Posting regularly, like blogs or social stuff, really seems to build that trust over time.
I'm thinking scalability and bouncing back from setbacks are huge. Those Shopify case studies we analyzed made dropshipping look smart for dipping your toes in without huge upfront costs—just test what people want. But yeah, remote customer support sucks sometimes, and random changes to Google or Facebook algorithms can hit hard. Gotta stay adaptable.
One idea that hit me (not straight from the module, but sparked by the innovation push) is using AI for more personal touches with customers. All this reinforced that passion's great, but you need data, doing things ethically, and constant learning to make it stick. I'm excited—maybe start small with a hobby-focused learning site or something like that.
